Valentine’s Day is a big card day but has a short lifespan. I used the Sweet Talk DSP and various stamps & dies from other sets. When I saw the little heart dies in the Gumball Greetings Bundle, the idea of a shaker card took hold. I considered some of the shaker domes that are available, but I really wanted a heart.

I used the Heart Punch Pack and used the larger of the two to punch in Real Red Cardstock (with the Adhesive Sheet on the back) and the Foam Adhesive Sheet. Then I used the smaller of the two to punch inside the larger cut outs and the 5 ½” x 4” of the Sweet Talk DSP. Using my Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a 2 ½” x 2 ½” piece of the Window Sheet on the back side of the DSP to cover the heart cut out. I adhered the outline heart on the front of the DSP where the smaller heart was cut and the outline foam heart on the back where the smaller heart was cut out. I used the Gumball Dies to cut out Real Red, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather hearts, then placed them over the Window Sheet opening along with a few of the Silver Sequins from the Sequins for Everything pack. The Real Red cardstock took away from the shaker hearts, so I adhered a 3″ x 3″ piece of White Cardstock to the back of the heart cutout to seal in the shaker pieces. I added Dimensionals to the back of the DSP and adhered it to the front of the Real Red card front (8 ½” x 5 ½” folded in half). The Gumball Dies set has a die with 3 multiple sized small hearts, so I used that to cut out hearts from the Simply Marbleous DSP from the January-February 2022 Sale-a-bration catalog. I adhered the larger hearts to the front of the card with Small Dimensionals and added Wink of Stella to give them a little bling. Since the DSP has lollypop sticks coming out of the larger hearts, I mimicked that & added a ⅛” x 2” piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to the bottom of the heart and finished it off with a double bow made from the Gorgeous Grape Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Gumball Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink, mounted on Real Red Cardstock and adhered with Dimensionals. I used some leftover glue dots from a Paper Pumpkin to adhere some of the smaller hearts cut from the Simply Marbleous DSP to the banner with a touch of Wink of Stella.

The inside of the card is a 5 ½” x 4” piece of White Cardstock stamped with a sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set in Real Red Ink. I added hearts in Blushing Bride, Pool Party & Highland Heather ink using the coordinating stamp from the Gumball Greetings Stamp Set and added Wink of Stella to give them some bling.
