Easter Blog Hop

From the time I was a young Girl Scout, my family always dyed Easter Eggs by putting paint on top of water & rolling the egg. The result looked like a tie-dyed egg. To make my eggs looked like this on my card, I took the blob looking stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set and randomly stamped in So Saffron, Pool Party, Pear Pizazz, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Pale Papaya & Polished Pink. I used the Double Oval Punch to cut out “eggs” then cut them in half at an angle.

The So Saffron cardstock was embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing folder then cut using the largest of the Color & Contour dies. I wanted the chicks from the Easter Friends stamp set to be in opposite directions, so I stamped it on another block then stamped the white cardstock. Once I colored them with my Stampin’ Blends, I fussy cut them out.
