Every 4th Sunday each month, we gather on Zoom to assemble our Paper Pumpkin kits. This month’s kit “Sweet Sunflowers” was a favorite of everyone in attendance at our August gathering. There were 3 different designs, 3 cards of each design for a total of 9 cards. We put together one of each card according to the enclosed directions.
Then we all cut up our card bases (because the backs were to pretty) to make 2 or more alternative cards. In this month’s kit we received a free gift of 8 sheets of gold honeycomb die-cut. Here are a few of my creations.
I stamped the sunflower from the kit on white cardstock in Blackberry Bliss, the center stamped in Crushed Curry. The I used my Stampin’ Blend markers in Light Blackberry Bliss to fill in the sunflower and Dark So Saffron to color in the center. The leaves on the double bloom were done in Dark Evening Evergreen & Light Soft Succulent. The single bloom leaves were stamped in Mossy Meadow and colored in with Light Old Olive. After I colored them, I fussy cut everything out then went back and colored the edges so that they weren’t white.
Here is a scrapbook page I did using the stamps. I fussy cut everything out.
