Mystery Card 09-04-2022

On Facebook Live on September 9, 2022 we ventured through the clues to make the following cards. I always try to make something easy & quick to show my fellow crafters that it doesn’t have to take an hour to make 1 card. Next Mystery Card on Facebook Live is October 2nd at 7pm.

Supplies Needed:

  • 11” x 4 ¼” Cardstock of choice, Scored at 5 ½”
  • 4” x 5 ¼” White/Vanilla Cardstock for inside of card
  • 4” x 1 ¼” White/Vanilla Cardstock for Image stamp or die cut (in portrait position)
  • 2 of 4” x 1 ¾”, DSP (4” being the landscape)
  • Stamp set with image & sentiments
  • Coordinating ink(s)
  • Markers or Stampin’ Blends if desired for image
  • Adhesives of choice
  • Embellishments if desired

Directions:

  • Take 11” x 4 ¼” Cardstock of choice, Score at 5 ½”, fold and trim off 3 ½” from one end of the card to the score line. Trim down the 3 ½” to 2” to use for bottom of card & 1 ½” to use for cover.
  • Adhere one of the 4” x 1 ¾” of DSP to the top cut section of the card base and the other on to the cut 4 ¼” x 2” section.
  • Stamp image or adhere die cut on the 4” x 1 ¼” White/Vanilla Cardstock & Adhere to 4 ¼” x 1 ½” Cardstock
  • Place the 4” x 1 ¾” of DSP/Cardstock piece along the bottom of the card base.
  • Put adhesive on 1” of the top back & 1” of the bottom back of the White/Vanilla assembly and adhere to the top & bottom of the card base (they now connect)
  • Adhere 4” x 5 ¼” White/Vanilla Cardstock to the inside bottom of the card then fold closed.
  • Stamp sentiment in the exposed White/Vanilla area
  • Embellish as desired
