Mystery Card 12-04-2022

On Facebook Live on December 4, 2022 we ventured through the clues to make the following cards. I always try to make something easy & quick to show my fellow crafters that it doesn’t have to take an hour to make 1 card. Next Mystery Card on Facebook Live is January 1, 2023 at 7pm.

Supplies Needed:

  • 1 piece of 5 ½” x 7 ½” cardstock, scored at 4 ¼”
  • 1 piece of 3” x 3 ½” coordinating cardstock, scored at ½”
  • 1 piece of 3” x 5 ¼” coordinating DSP
  • 1 piece of 3” x 4” coordinating DSP (different from the 3” x 5 ¼” piece, approx. size if using a die to cut it out)
  • 1 piece of 4’ x 5 ¼” white cardstock
  • 1 piece of 2” x 3” white cardstock (approx. size if using a die to cut it out)
  • Die cut(s) or image(s) and/or sentiment that will fit in the 2” x 3” piece of white cardstock (you may also fussy cut an image from DSP of your choice)
  • Coordinating ink
  • Embellishments if desired
  • Sentiment and/or image stamps for the inside
  • Adhesive of choice

Instructions:

  • Fold card base so that it is 3 ¼” x 5 ½” for the front panel
  • Adhere 3” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to front of card
  • Fold 3” x 3 ½” piece of coordinating cardstock so that it is 2 ½” x 3 ½”
  • Put strip of adhesive on ½” flap & adhere to middle outside of inside of card so that it flaps out
  • Stamp inside sentiment and/or image on the 4’ x 5 ¼” white cardstock, then adhere to inside of card covering most of the flap of cardstock adhered to the side
  • Adhere Die cut(s) or stamp image(s) and/or sentiment to 2” x 3” piece of white cardstock, then adhere to 3” x 4” piece of DSP
  • Adhere the assembly to the flap on the right, make sure you only put adhesive on half
  • Embellish as desired
